"On Tuesday evening, LeBlanc announced to his staff that the Red Cross would open a shelter for 1,500 people at the Galveston Island Convention Center, which is managed by Landry’s Restaurants."

Landry's had this to say, "groups that had reserved the facility for events in October were still planning to come to town. Landry’s officials also had an appointment to show the building tomorrow to a group that wanted to book it for sometime in the future."

So you see, the poor people can't use the Convention Center because some rich clients want to rent it in October. Let's make sure the MSN gets this story.

Been going there almost 30 years now. They'll be back. I'm up here in Chicago but I go down there every time I'm in Houston. Damn, That looks good, Can't get that kind of seafood up here in Chi town. Although, lots of other good stuff.

We have a Landry's, but most New Orleanians are spoiled and consider it to be sub-par, tho not quite as bad as Joe's Crab Shack.
