Apparently, Los Angelenoes are unable to operate their televisions.

If only there was some kind of technology that L.A. could learn and perhaps one day gain expertise in ...

that would allow one to perhaps change the channel, turn the TV off, or even mute it. All done from a distance, so one doesn't have to constantly walk back and forth between the TV and the couch. Oh, if only some technological sage out there could invent such a device.
