edited to add my reply, and then his.
If you truly want feedback, I would be happy to give it to you. Basically, Palin is still a novelty right now, but her popularity is on the wane since Charlie Gibson's interview. And no, I don't think his questions are unfair. To be honest with you, I think that somewhere during the interview Charlie realized that McCain is 72, was probably exposed to agent orange, and has had at least 3 episodes of malignant melanoma and he also won't release his medical records. Somewhere in there, Gibson realized that she very well may be the President and he got scared. It scares the hell out of me too.
McCain is also having a hell of a time with his financial advisors. Phil "father of deregulation" Gramm told us we were a bunch of whiners because we were worried about the economy. He is still an advisor but he is in the background now. And Carly HP President Fiorino or whatever her last name is, who said that Palin and McCain weren't qualified to be a corporate executive like she was, then added Biden and Obama too. I don't want a corporate executive as President, the country is not a company. I want somebody who thinks about what is best for we the people instead of what's good for the big corporations. It's time to stop privatizing the profits and socializing the losses.
Now, are you still sure that you want to keep sending stuff to me? LOL

his reply to me:
Well put! I wish my friend Randy could calmly and, rationally explain his points as you just did, so well! I will enclose to you what Randy sent me, and you will see why I have a hard time coming over. I really think that if the Dems would just ease up on their venom (the way they explain it and the ferocity with which they present it) allot more people would consider Obama!
Did you see where Palin got stuck on Bush doctrine? She had no clue what it was! Do you think Obama made a mistake not choosing Hilary? The Republicans hate her almost as much as Dems hate Bush (note I said almost ;)). Enjoy Randy’s blog below warning it contains profanity, but is really a good read, as only Randy could do this! I particularly liked his nuk-yul-lar war reference.

Yes, I did reply back. I would post what whoever Randy is wrote, but it isn't productive. It states what most of us believe, but the tone is very confrontational. And I agree with him to a point that if you are trying to convince somebody of something, attacking them is not the best strategy. I did say that a lot of us are very angry about things. Not the least of which is the people who skewered John Kerry are the same ones who say you can't criticize McCain because he was a POW. I also said that most of what he hears that he doesn't like is not from Obama, but from some of his supporters who are upset at what the current administration has done to the country.
So he may be playing me for a fool. But, as I told him, keep sending this stuff to me and I will tell him why he is wrong. It may do no good at all, but it might change his misguided ways. I'm thinking of suggesting that he watch Rachel Maddow to get some good viewpoints. She explains her points very well and calmly. I think he may be easier for him to watch than Keith who many times does let his venom show. We love it, I love it, but I think Rachel may be better for him to watch. What do you think?
