Only 28% Of Americans Support Bush Bailout Plan
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 04:32 PM by louis c
Well, well. I guess the American people's instincts are OK after all. Bush is saying "Hurry Up" and everyone else is saying "Slow Down". The Democrats should not allow themselves to get stampeded once again into rubber stamping anything that comes from this lying, cheating, conniving piece of shit or members of this asshole's administration. Take your time. Deliberate and protect your constituencies. Fuck him. Let him twist in the wind. The American people are behind the folks who want to get it right, not the ones who want to fuck us again, like they did with the Iraq War Resolution and the Patriot Act. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. But three fucking times? If we let it happen again then we surly are the assholes.

3. Newt Gingrich agrees.
He told ATC this afternoon the bailout is a really bad plan.

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=94900671

He says Bernancke and Paulson are both from Sacks and they are panicking but Congress shouldn't. This is a democracy, he says, we don't take dictation from Wall Street.

He says we need to take time to figure out what's going on and not make a quick discison that will create a 20 year mess.

He also says B & P have been wrong about everything else, they shouldn't be trusted now.

Getting over my shock, right now.
