| Bush should fire Gonzales. That should be the call from every Democrat. |
|
John Dean just said on Countdown that this (government under Bush) is a type of representative government. That Gonzales is in danger of losing his position (paraphrased).
Later in the conversation he said that now Congress has subpoena power they should be conducting oversight of the administration.
Democrats should be demanding that Bush fire Gonzales. Then all their statements together would put the focus squarely on Bush. Gonzales is probably going to resign after being defiant, but at least Bush would be linked to the affair, albeit through the statements of Democratic leaders.

| 2. That will NEVER happen. Bush is The Decider(TM) and he has |
|
already dug in his heels and decided that AG stays.
If we want him gone, someone is going to have to impeach him.

| 5. The Dems know Gonzales won't resign.. so when they call for his resignation |
|
they are setting the stage for the termination and impeachment of the AG. ( I hope)
So far Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein, John Edwards, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Edward Kennedy have declared... any others?

The man belongs behind bars for a whole lot of reasons. I also think investigations would bring down a few with him. I like seeing republican go like dominoes falling. There is a scandal waiting to be exposed every where you look.

Kucinich has the best platform in the democratic party and an absolute no bullshit, no procrastination agenda to bring the troops home immediate...but then again NO one tells Bush who to fire, he promotes the ones who do illegal things for him, and gives them medals, who's listening here anyway...not you....most here are caught up in tabloid politics...TELEVISION!

A president, and candidate, needs to find a way to get people to listen.
