Where's our bailout?
Wouldn't it be nice if the government absorbed the debts of the People, thus erasing bankruptcies, rendering debt collection agencies obsolete, etc.?

I bet it would actually cost less than absorbing the debts of corporations.

Why is the government so afraid of doing that?

It would probably be the best solution.

Then again, it is the Bush Administration in charge, "Government of the people, by the people, for the people... which crazy liberal wrote this nonsense?" is their motto.

1. I have posted on this too.
Why do only the big guys get bailed out? I don't need $85 billion, I'd settle for some health care. The commoners like me have to foot the bill so that the rich can live the high life. The CEOs of these companies should have to work for minimum wage until the debt is paid (It never will be)
