2. Is he pretending not to be a Republican now?
By the time this is over, none of them will admit to have ever been a Republican.

8. And why shouldn't he?
Scarbooboo was trying to claim yesterday that he is now and has always been against privatizing Social Security. Never mind that bill he introduced and sponsored about . . . privatizing Social Security.

If you believe Joe Scarborough on anything, then you're one of the gullible rubes that he's counting on for his target audience.

So the Republicans have decided to run against themselves. The bums have tiptoed out the back door and circled around to the front and started yelling, "Throw the bums out!"

typo edit

5. I keep envisioning people in August 1974 going out to their driveways
and scraping the "Nixon/Agnew" stickers off the bumpers of their cars.
