1. It would be better if he just stayed hidden.
He could spook the market.

4. Statement after statement of "I unnerstan'"
I unnerstan' people are worried. I unnerstan' there's uncertainty. I unnerstan' the Uhmurrican people are concerned.

He will know, of course, that no one will have the common sense to ask just what he "unnerstans" about anything.

12. It's very strange to me
You would have thought that Bush's one day economic summit in Waco would have fully prepared him for any problems that might have cropped up. I mean, he spent nearly an hour there, and then left with the promise that he'd carefully read all the minutes of the meetings and the reports that came out of the sessions.

You don't think that was all just a show for the gullible media?

explain the economic 'situation' both domestically and globally. However, he will say what you're purporting and then it's upstairs to pack his suitcase for Camp David or Crawford depending on the weekend de ju....it is Thursday isn't it?

edit: I wouldn't be surprised he'll advise us to go shopping!

8. Through The Looking Glass...
...watch this asshat attempt to justify nationalizing AIG as a move to protect the "free market". Then chirp that the economy is still "fundamentally strong"...just you peons aren't rich enough to realize it...and because of that, we need more tax cuts. Remember, this is "fuzzy math".
