Here's another instance where Krugman got it ever so right

Back around 2001 Paul Krugman noted that "Loosely speaking the post-cold-war Federal Government is a big pension fund that also happens to have an Army" Substitute "Insurance Company" for "pension fund" and you have the state of things as of today.
