Useful links for yourselves and your family, but also if you're involved in any GOTV efforts!

Props to zorland at KOS, give 'em some love if you drop in.

1. My trusty assistant just called LA County Registrar's office to confrim her
registration AND request the form for becoming permanent absentee so she doesn't have to try to make it to the poll, working a ways from home and being in this commuter's hell.

Took 2 minutes.

2. Yeah! Some folks are voting early to free up time to drive people to vote.
That's how we win.

Thanks!

5. Thank you for posting this!
I was looking for a way to easily check if my registration had been processed. This will be my first election in which I'm old enough to vote and I'm quite excited!

It says that my voter status is "Active," which is great, but I'm wondering if I need to do anything to get a mail-in ballot. I registered on the 4th of July (how appropriate =D) and I checked a box saying I wanted to receive my ballot my mail, since Washington is apparently switching over to mail-in ballots. Maybe I'll wait until a week or so before and see if I get my ballot. If anyone knows the details of how this works, I'd love a reply!
