I have read on the internet as far north as Kentucky gas stations running out because of panic. Are the networks smart enough not to fuel the fire? I can't believe they are.

1. My local media is all over it - urging people not to buy into panic buying

And giving information on how to report gas gouging and other incidents to the government. As bad as it is getting here, I'm glad they are covering it because it is a major, major, issue.

5. I certainly hope someone does - this is going to be disastrous

Not only in Texas, where its looking like a major catastrophe is upon us already, but across the country as well. This could stagger and shut down our economy very, very quickly. If I'm in NE Tennessee and the panic has reached a fevered pace where the fuel is running out and it may take as long as Monday before stations receive any new shipments of fuel (if at all), I can only imagine its going to be worse elsewhere.
