1. good shots
Did you see the two of them walking out from Ground Zero yesterday? It was a slight incline and McCain looked like he was about 90 years old - hobbling, struggling, hitching his legs like his hips were shot. I didn't think he was going to make it. I noticed also when he spoke at his convention that he walked out like someone with an extremely painful back and/or hips.

Honestly, I can't understand why he wants to take on the most demanding job in the world. He just doesn't look up to it.

2. I think he thinks he deserves it - after what he put up with in 2000
and before that - it's his turn. Kind of like Bob Dole in 96, i guess.

3. He doesn't want the job
he just wants the title to put on his resume. He's been fighting for this for 8 years and won't give up because there is a prize at the end - whether or not he still wants to prize or the prize is in his best interest is irrelevant at this point. He's going to get that prize before he dies or die trying.

4. Good Lord, McCain looks feeble.
Being the President is a stressful job -- there is no way McCain will make it through 4 years.

C'mon, John...time to retire and take it easy.
