Grandma Barracuda had a background of doing TV...reading scripts and then tutored in the how to deliver the "zinger". She's good at soundbites as well as playing drama queen. She's not a complete Barbie doll...she wouldn't have gotten this far...ego and ambition...if she were that vacuous. But it's an act...and one that playing into it perpetuates her novelty...creates the soundbites and generates the buzz. She'll bring the cable teevee food fights to the VP debate...bank it. She'll also be very assertive in interivews...intimidate the host (not that hard) and use soundbites and talking points...and an enabler like Gibson will play into this game like the old pro he is.

The way to drag attention off Grandma is to force Grandpa from behind her skirt. Attack him and hard...get him to do what he does worst...try to attack back...where his ego and conflicts always converge. Palin becomes the freak show she deserves and the focus goes back onto who will bring real change and who is trying to peddle bullshit.
