Tom Brokaw was so unfair to Biden on MTP!!!
He asked about his son!! He was asking all sorts of tough questions and everything too, about his positions and the campaigns positions, previous votes and even possible conflicts in his positions relative to Obama's.

The media is so unfair!! OMG!!!!!!

:sarcasm:

2. Since his return, I can't stand Brokaw
I know you are being sarcastic. Is it my imagination or does Brokaw seem like a republican water carrier since his return?

3. I have no problem with those questions
I do have an immense problem that well over half the interview was about either Biden or Palin and not issues.

6. On that we can agree
But this whole liberal media thing is bullshit and Palin should be in that chair.

19. no way. Biden embraces his past and his personal story. Palin hides from it,
except when she lies about it.

Its not a matter of what he deserves or doesn't deserve... appearances only help Obama/Biden.

16. heheh no every time he talks he looks better and better
when Palin talks she's only going to look worse.
:)
This is their choice, to hide her. The McCain campaign considers it worse than the alternative, apparently!

7. I was listening too. What happened to leave the children out of it.
Did you notice Sen.Biden, gentleman that he is, didn't get his feathers all fluffed out, but handled the question quite well without mentioning his son's soon-to-be deployment?

8. It's only be unfair if Brokaw asked Palin the same questions.
But we can rest easy ... she's not held to those unfair standards. After all, that'd be sexist. :eyes:

12. I was proud of Biden on that interview
I think this interview needs to be seen by everyone. Biden did a magnificent job. I thought he was more knowledgable than Brokaw on every subject. I thought he gave a great answer to Brokaw on abortion. He correctly said that no person or government has any right to impose anyone's personal religious beliefs on anyone else. I also like the fact that he showed that the surge was not succrssful and that any success that has been achieved was the result of the adoption of his and Obama's ideas. Brokaw thought he would trick him with that MBNA legislation. However, Brokaw forgot that Biden knows more about that legislation than Brokaw does.
Does anyone believe that Palin could do as good of a job under similar circumstances? You can bet your last dollar that Palin will not be asked questions with the same degree of difficulty as Biden was.
Biden also pointed out that McCain has no future solutions to Iraq. This is something voters need to know.
I thought it was especially telling at the end when Brokaw offered Palin a chance to appear on MTP. If Palin can't handle an interview like this on MTP, how is she going to handle the duties of being president?

17. Biden
Brokaw treated Obama the same way. I cannot articulate it, but just a gut feeling I have that Brokaw is anti-Obama. Maybe he
doesn't like this new guy coming into the old boys' club? We will see how Palin is treated.

21. Brokow questioned Biden about his son working for a Delaware Bank
Will the same question be asked of McCain regarding his son working for The Silver State Bank in Nevada, which just closed their doors?????

Brokaw needs to tighten up his questions - sheesh, I must have yelled at the TV ten times, "Is there a question coming, Tom?"
