i have this feeling that sarah palin is being kept in a room, and is being thoroughly programmed 12 hours a day by mccain's handlers as to what talking points she must stick to,...also, where Iraq is, where afghanistan is, the fact that there is a country called georgia and not to mix that up with the state of georgia, where europe is, where mexico is, where south america is, and on and on.

9. yes. last night, a guy here in my small town

came up to me at a cafe, and said " did you see that poor kid they dragged up there for the photo op? he looked like a deer in the headlights...can you imagine his life? he gets some girl knocked up in a small town and then the secret service is knocking on his door at 3 am yelling to him that he is on his way to minnesota..or else!"

It takes years to shine. Even seasoned politicians have trouble when the spotlight is on them and most never get to the POTUS or VP spotlight. Look at the McCain gaffes. She will mess up.

unless the press plays footsie. which they often do. or they only allow fox to interview her and have the questions and answers downpat beforehand.
i want to see a reporter ask her some questions like:

"when did hezbollah emerge as a militia and what military tactics has it been employing for the last few years? also, what are your off the cuff feelings about the Haldron supercollider? "

When she can't answer something she'll cry (bravely trying to hold back her tears, of course, but the big, mean press will be too much for her).

I want someone to start out asking the simpler questions, such as how would she balance the national budget without relying on levies on oil companies, or on immigration policy in general.
