the dirty deals he just negotiated in Georgia...

but Rice in Libya, I'm baffled...why?..not why she says she is there, which is a good start..but why is she there now?...

this morning about Cheney. Am I wrong: I don't think of the VP position as a foreign liason or diplomat. Isn't this unusual?

The administration is up to something. We probably should be afeared. After the lack luster repuke convention we have reason to sincerely celebrate but.......me thinks somehow,something, someone is going to pop our celebratory balloon. imho

10. There are two possibilities

One is that they just wanted to get them out of the country for the convention, but, while Cheney's toxic, Rice still has a patina of credibility among the "base."

That leads to the second possibility, as others have mentioned, that they're up to something. I'd put my money on that.

It's very unusual to have high-profile administration members under wraps for the national convention.
