but we could have dealt with her by ourselves if John McCain hadn't stuck his nose in here. There were already investigations, and her popularity was fading. party lines, despite the right-wing social differences. I'm not listening to her speech, but they probably have her attacking the Democrats, right? She would never do that up here. She gained her popularity by trying to work WITH the Democrats and Independents. She set her own agenda, of course, especially in dealing with the oil companies, but she was very persuasive in bringing people along.
