Valley Trash - That's what some in Wasilla call themselves

"I'm 'Valley Trash' and proud of it," said Nate Bair, a church member on Sunday morning. (Valley Trash is a pejorative term for people who live in Wasilla and its environs.) An advocate for small government and lower taxes, and an opponent of national health care, Bair calls the Democratic nominee Barack Obama "a socialist." He was lukewarm about McCain, until the Arizona senator put Palin on the ticket.

4. The term "Proud Valley Trash" actually is a response

to none other then Ted Stevens shit for brains son Ben. Who, a few years back, shot himself in foot, political wise, by having himself recorded saying this. I forget what the exact issue was about but Ben can pretty much give up political carrer in Alaska.

Every year, the Alaskan people get a cut of the profits from the oil deposits in Alaska. The wealth is SHARED because the logic goes that EVERYONE owns that WEALTH. That's the definition of SOCIALISM. Then again, so is paying property taxes for public schools.
