Palin doesn't support legalizing marijuana, worrying about the message it would send to her four kids. But when it comes to cracking down on drugs, she says methamphetamines are the greater threat and should have a higher priority.

Palin said she has smoked marijuana -- remember, it was legal under state law, she said, even if illegal under U.S. law -- but says she didn't like it and doesn't smoke it now.

"I can't claim a Bill Clinton and say that I never inhaled."

Frankly, I like her. Personally. But she is a totally baffling choice for VP -- what makes her qualified to be president? And yes, four years in the U.S. Senate makes you far more qualified to be president than governor of a state with fewer people than Indianapolis. Is the mayor of Indianapolis qualified to be president?

Although I guess you could be right -- Bush's coke snorting didn't do him in among Repubs. I just figure that her lack of apology over it could be a bad thing for Republicans.
