5. My daughter just heard from an ex-roommate

The roomie left her a phone message saying he was fleeing New Orleans ahead of Gustav. My daughter moved back at the end of June, and her boyfriend came back from New orleans at the end of July. They were sharing a house in the Garden District.

Goddess help those who remain.
