McCain tries to explain his anti-veterans position
April-05: Vote on $2 billion for veterans’ health care
McCain: Nay
Obama: Yea

March-06: Bill to increase medical care for veterans by $1.5 billion
McCain: Nay
Obama: Yea

April-06: Bill to increase outpatient care for veterans by $430 million
McCain: Nay
Obama: Yea

May-06: Bill to provide $20 million for veterans’ medical facilities
McCain: Nay
Obama: Nay

July-07: Vote on cloture of bill to specify minimum rest periods for troops in Iraq
McCain: Nay
Obama: Yea

He has said that if he voted "Yea" on these bills, then he would be supporting socialism, but why does McCain himself receive government funded health care... at our expense?

2. Oh please say its socialism to take care of our Vets at the debate!!!
My god...

And what is it when you send our troops in to get limbs blown off in an unnecessary war and then leave them to rot at home?

Fascism? Cruel and unusual punishment? Murder?

4. If your a republicon enabler then you make excuses such as
they knew what they were signing up for, they are being paid to fight, hey I didn't sign up but I support the war because they bought my freedom with their blood besides see my I support the troops ribbons I bought at Wal-Mart, why are you not doing your part?, shit happens, your a pinko commie bastard and if you don't like the war then get the fuck out of merica. Besides I don't want my tax dollars being wasted on things like health care for the troops, tax dollars are to help billionaires get out of their screw ups because without them the economy fails and then troops can't get the weapons they need. Another words just say the most asinine thing that pops in your head and run with it.

3. It IS socialism, John. It is socialism, and you don't support it.
Now pay attention to what happens to politicians who don't support socialism. :hi:

5. So George Washington was a socialist?
Who knew?

"The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive veterans of early wars were treated and appreciated by our nation."

- George Washington, America's first socialist president
