C-SPIN Joins In On The Hillary/Obama Crap
They have a Colorado delegate saying how Obama needs to all but kiss her ass...as if the world revolves around her. These networks sure work overtime to find these people and give them a lot of publicity.

Now why don't we hear from a Kucinich delegate (I'm sure there has to be someone there) or Edwards and have them ask for their asses to be kissed as well.

As long as the corporate media (and, yes, C-SPIN fits that definition) continues to astroturf this crap, it just feeds the beast and does a great dis-service to all who are interested in issues and spotlighting 8 years of repressive repugnican facism and their inept candidate.

BTW...has anyone heard someone question why Gramps isn't kissing the Paulbots asses? These people are being totally ignored...and could be the pisser in their punchbowl next week.

Seems like all one has to say is "I have questions about Obama" and they get their 15 minutes of fame. It's no longer either Obama's or Hillary's problem...these people are their own problem.

2. Yes, they were on this crap yesterday morning with
"What does Obama HAVE to do at the Convention"?...I tried getting through on the phone, but couldn't. One elderly-sounding man got through, basically calling them on their spin. He asked "What more CAN he do"?, why aren't you asking what McCain "has" to do"?

I was disgusted that more callers didn't echo this message, so I sent them an email telling them that they seemed to be following the Mainstream Media's biased lead and that they should stop "framing" their coverage of Obama this way. I said that the implication was that, even he's ahead, he is "deficient" in some way.

4. Welcome To DU
Thank you for trying to call in...not that it would do much good. This is a meme the corporate media (they're definitely not in the mainstream with the world and people I live in) they are trasnfixed on. This is McCain's "base" doing its work cause it knows that they stand a bigger "reward" (bar-b-ques and access) if Gramps wins. Their corporate masters also stand to make millions in commercial revenues (badly needed as their audience shrinks) in a tight race...and if Gramps wins, they stand to push for even more "deregulation". When Gramps is bought, he stays bought.

5. Thanks, Karma. Yes, you are quite right...It's discouraging to see
EVERY television outlet tainted with corporate bias...PBS may be the best (along with Olbermann & Maddow, of course)-- but even they have to answer to Washington.
