Just now on Channel 2 News from Portland, OR, they had to explain that last night they did NOT say that Joe Biden was "prone to gas." A woman wrote in asking: "Do you mean that he burps and farts? What an odd thing to say." In fact, they had said he is "prone to gaffes," but the closed-captioning-for-the-hearing-impaired person misheard them.
