So if a-hole T-Boone has been so wrong before (besides the SwiftBOTs), why should anybody listen him about anything?!1

And why would BAYH *want* to hang out with Sandra-and-Alan and Henry-and-James?!1

CLUB STILL COLD TO VP HOPEFUL

.... Bayh - one of three men on Barack Obama's short list of potential running mates - has been trying for years to become a full-fledged member of the blue-blooded country club, joining the likes of Sandra Day O'Connor, Henry Kissinger, Alan Greenspan and James Baker.

But, as Page Six reported in March 2005, "He has been on probation since his wife, Susan, was overheard yelling at the staff on more than one occasion." We quoted one member as saying, "She's really teed off on some of the help." ....

(His office's statement: ) "Sen. Bayh's stock must be rising if he is now a target of the New York gossip columns, but Hoosiers know Susan Bayh as a kind, compassionate woman who spent eight years waiting tables to put herself through college and law school."

Maybe so, but longtime servers at the club have allegedly dubbed her "the wicked witch of the Midwest." Maybe they're Republicans. ....

WHEN RUDY IGNORED BOONE

TEXAS oilman T. Boone Pickens, a leading advocate for alternative energy sources, told a tale out of school yesterday about Rudy Giuliani at an energy summit in Las Vegas. While acting as an adviser to Giuliani's failed presidential campaign, Pickens recalled, he warned the candidate not to make promises he couldn't keep about weaning the US off foreign oil. "I said, 'Please do not get up and say you're going to be energy independent because you can't produce that,' " Pickens related. "That's going to take time and a lot of planning to do. He said, 'OK, OK, I got you.' " Two weeks later, Pickens said, Giuliani announced that he'd make the nation energy independent if he became president. "I told him by the time you get to November of '08 you will be this deep in energy problems and it will be the No. 1 issue. I did get that right on the time. I didn't get it right on Giuliani."

AUTHOR GIVES BUBBA NEW DAD

Author's John D. Gartner, Ph.D. A Johns Hopkins University psychologist who sort of writes books and who sort of (pardon the phrase) lays Bubba out on the couch to explain him. Per this doc:

* William Jefferson Clinton's true pa was actually George Wright, a doctor from Hope, Ark., for whom mama Virginia once worked. Friends recall her bragging about him ....

* Clinton's "defined by his role as middle man between his mother and grandmother. His mother, the Monica type. Grandmother, the Hillary type . . . Hillary even resembles grandma Edith Cassidy . . . precisely what attracted Bill to her in the first place . . . Bill was marrying his grandmother." ....
