1. I don't believe in prayer.
But the idea that we won't make it has me really jumpy.

3. want to hear something really weird?
my father, of all people, taught me to believe in prayer.

And my dad didn't have a religious bone in his body.

2. yes but we need more of the ring wing gone than him - he is just the messenger
the evil goes much deeper and it is the whole republican party and the right wing networks and so much more - the devil has permeated a huge part of society and has set us on each other

6. I'll be amazed if we make it to January 20th without some major
intervention in the system. Most likely it will be fixing the election again, but it could be something worse. If Obama takes the oath of office on the 20th, I'll have to re-assess my evaluation of Bush by admitting to myself that he may not be totally evil, just totally stupid.

8. Yes, I worry, too.
I think they always have some horrible things in the works; like disasters that would make Marshall Law the next step, but just when I am convinced of that, I remember the fact that the neo-cons need us to keep driving so that we can buy oil, so they can coninue to line their pockets. The country cannot afford to have a shut-down or cancel elections! They're greedy palms are being greased until the very end! On the other hand, I wonder if the reason Pelosi is such a wall about impeachment is because they made a deal with her- promising if there are no proceedings-then no war with Iran- or other MIHOP disaster!
