1. I watched it a few nights ago and it is actually encouraging
A lot of very powerful Evangelicals are for trying to protect the earth and are at odds with the very radical right like Falwell and Dobson and Robertson. It is causing a major rift among them and Democrats can find advantage here if they give it a try..

3. the numbers are so plain....
earth's atmosphere is roughly 12 miles thick, from ground to where no more air-into that humanity has pumped 200 billion tonnes of carbon since industrial revolution, and each year we add 6 billion tonnes more. Simple sense says that has to be causing problems; politics aside. And fact is, the 'interests' want to keep using fossil fuels because they get to pig out if we do (even if it means killing everything!) Changing over to electric (even electric transport trucks are conceivable once batteries developed) powered transport/mass transit should be national priority, and would be if the carbon terrorists (big oil/money etc) were forced out of the shadows where they now hide

2. I would encourage everyone to watch it
Fundies are still stuck in the landfills but evangelicals have seen the green light.... It is going to be a major debate within the church. Stewardship vs dominion.
