Clinton: 'Thoughts and prayers'
Hillary Clinton, speaking at an Obama rally in Henderson, NV, offered a brief reaction to John Edwards' admission he'd had an affair.

"My thoughts and prayers are with the Edwards family today and that's all I've got to say," she said.

In October of 2006 during the run-up to the 2008 primary and, as it turns out, after she knew about John's affair - Elizabeth said:

"She and I are from the same generation," she said of the senator and former first lady. "We both went to law school and married other lawyers, but after that we made other choices. I think my choices have made me happier. I think I'm more joyful than she is."

Elizabeth was saying - I am "better than" Hillary Clinton.

Elizabeth at first said she was misquoted but later acknowledged it was accurate and she then had to call Hillary to apologize. If I had been Hillary I would not have taken the call but Hillary is a better person than I am.

I had purchased Elizabeth's book when it first came out but put it down and stopped reading when Elizabeth trashed Theresa H. Kerry. It didn't add to her personal narrative - it just made Elizabeth look small and snarky. Then Elizabeth trashed Hillary. I decided that Elizabeth's tendency to take the moral high ground made me very uncomfortable. Until the book I had been a big fan.

Now I feel like she is just an ordinary everyday hypocrite - just like her husband.
