Obama, McCain campaigns bust out the brass knuckles
The Democrats this week launched the Exxon/McCain '08 campaign, complete with Web site, bumper stickers and slogans ("Oil Companies First"). They also created thenextdickcheney.com (links.sfgate.com/ZELO), a site that details the weaknesses of potential GOP vice presidential candidates and, oh, while you're here, how about a contribution to the Democratic Party.

And the complete story from sfgate.com:

1. Whooop! I will be sending Obama another $100 this month. Until peLOsi
and her gang start talking about impeachment, he is getting my cash - not the DNC or the Democratic party.

"McCain was in Wilmington, OH.

A woman got up and spoke of the DHL air facility being closed down, with a resulting loss of 8600 jobs. She became emotioal and teary -- and asked McCain if he would come to Wilmington to look into it, and into any anti-trust issues, and if he would take into consideration the petition they had with 10,000 signatures.

He said - This is a great blow. I can assure you if there is any anti-trust concern, I would insist on a thorough investigation into this.

Well. Turns out McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis, was the lobbyist for DHL (a German company) to garner support for DHL to acquire Airborne. McCain helped by giving his support to this acquisition."
