2. I'm sticking with the Ravelympics.

I'm not going to watch the opening ceremonies, and I'm not sure I'll watch much of it anyway. I'm worried about the athletes and what they're being exposed to, I'm worried about the human rights issues, and I'm worried that this will somehow be used against us--that we ignored all those hurt by the Olympics and that shows the world what America's really like.

3. I'll probably watch the opening

but on CCTV9, China's English language station, on the off chance they won't have blow dried bobbleheads yammering so much on camera you don't hear any of it and you don't see most of it.

I could have strangled those perky yappers with a smile on my face during the Oz opening ceremonies.

4. I totally agree.

I hate the announcers every time. They focus on all this backstory crap and don't show enough of the actual events. Very annoying.
