Ivins brother Tom lives in Middletown, about 10 miles from Lebanon. He hasn't talked to Bruce in 20 years, and said nothing to defend his brother.

"It was his own fault, I thought," said Tom Ivins. "What he did, he screwed himself up. He got involved with the wrong people."

Like, who are these "wrong people"?

Why haven't the brothers spoken in 20 years?

Isn't there a family member who would INSIST an autopsy be performed in this case?

5. He was jealous of his brother

In another article, sorry I didn't capture it, his brother say's something about, "It doesn't surprise me, he thought he was a god." I think he was jealous having a brilliant scientist for a brother and had hard feelings. Or he was paid off.

He was making strange noises and the ignorant radio "news" caster handled it very badly. Anyway, Tom ended the interview with an abrupt "I hope he burns in hell."

Isn't that how the Unibomber's brother figured out it was his brother who was behind that mess...just through the writing style. And IRC, they were estranged as well.

I think the article is sketchy as well...I'll be curious how this story plays out as it definitely has caught the attention of the blogosphere...and right be it so. This story is only a couple days old...let's see what else comes out in the days ahead...as well as what the government and Ivins lawyers release.

16. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

My guess is he was fed a scenario by the FBI, and this is what he's referring to. Then they're using his words, in reference to whatever story they told him, to make it look like his brother had some "inside knowledge" of the situation.

Also, "he got involved with the wrong people", were this to be true, would mean there was a conspiracy and the case should not be closed.

The FBI seems perfectly satisfied that Bruce Ivins' death has tied this up into a neat little bundle with no loose ends protruding anywhere. At least as of Friday, they were indicating that the investigation will now close.
