5. Not just comcast
Must be DU server hanging. My ATT DSL and neighbor's Roadrunner both are also hanging on DU-everything else zips.

7. My Comcast Always Is ComSpastic...
I'm also in Northern IL...and I'm never sure if its Comcast or Windows Vista that screws up more. Today doesn't seem out of place...but I've caught Comcast screwing up in the past. Today it's slow, but from what I see, it's nothing more than usual.

8. Comcast subscriber here, and YES I am having problems also.
Western PA.

Comcast has been a total mess lately. I would switch in a heartbeat if there were a viable alternative. Between their dumping of MSNBC and crappy internet service, I give them a D-.

32. Comcast moved MSNBC from channel 31 (included in their basic cable package)
to channel 183 which is available only if you subscribe to their higher-priced digital service. We have digital on one TV in our home, but not the others. To watch MSNBC on the other TVs I would have to pay for a digital converter box which I don't want due to the size and the cost.

It's all Olbermann's fault

If KO had stayed on the right like Tweety, Ol' Slo-Joe and the rest this wouldn't have been necessary.

10. Count Me In From Colorado This Morning

Took me about 5 minutes of fiddling before DU came up; all the rest of my bookmarked sites came up without a hitch....

15. Yes, in New Jersey.
It's been on and off for a few hours. DU is the only website that's been effected for me.

In fact, it went out again when I first typed this up.

20. I'm on Charter and having problems not just with DU but also
with some other sites. Those other sites will almost completely load and then a box pops up that says "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site (site url). Operation Aborted."

This is the second weekend in a row that I've seen cable internet problems.

It's pretty much just DU for me, so I expect it's a server problem.

22. I've been having trouble getting on this morning
But I'm on Time Warner so I think it's a problem with the site itself. But I think it's now solved (so far).

Seems OK now, but was hanging up for awhile. Other sites loaded just fine. I have Comcast, which actually seems to work for me, most of the time.

Is DU down for everyone or just me?

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/

I've been having sporadic problems with DU on IE and Firefox since 6 am on Roadrunner. It seems like some DNS difficulty, but who knows?
