Anyone else having trouble linking to stories on DU Home page?

I get spin, or connection time out, or blank screen when trying to access stories via the Home page.
If I go to a forum (say GD) and then click on a post, it will come up.

1. I'm having trouble just connecting to DU

this morning. And fogret trying to get the damn spell cheker to worrk.

5. DU on my desktop has been up and down for me....Laptop? No problem...

Very odd. And when it's down, I can't even ping the site.

2. Me too, I left and went to other sites thinking some maintenance

work is being done. Only junkies like us would be here on a Saturday morning while maint. is being done...LOL.

I've been swearing at my internet connection all morning. The maintenance explanation makes sense. I'm not usually up this early on a Saturday.

4. Now able to get back. Couldn't even get the DU home page once I'd left

No problem with any other of my bookmarked sites.

Admins: Should we be paranoid? Is the great right wing trying to shut us down?
