Bush's Pesonal Body Count
Edited on Tue Jul-29-08 10:18 AM by milord
It is widely acknowledged that George Bush has been a total failure in everything he has attempted. But I have discovered something he’s actually very good at. It’s called “killing.” When he was governor of Texas, from 1994 to 2001 when he was inaugurated as pretend-president, his state of Texas executed 152 people. That’s not a misprint. 152 people. With no clemencies. That was the highest in the nation.
As president he is directly responsible for over 4,438 deaths of American soldiers in an unwarranted war, and god only knows how many Iraqis (estimates range from 600,000 to 1,200,000). Of course, George’s totals pale in comparison to Hitler’s, Stalin’s, Pol Pot’s, and others , but maybe he can conjure up a nucular conflict and take over first place. He’s still got five months to go, and Cheney to assist him.
Whatever happened to his "Culture of Life?"

2. The first time I was sure that this guy was a liar was..
in 99 I think. He was talking about the executions that he approved. No clemencies. Some reporter asked him about this, and he basically replied that all of these people received fair trials.

Sure they did.....That was it.

4. Bush's Personall Body Count
Edited on Tue Jul-29-08 11:07 AM by milord
Stuart G.--Well, people like to do what they're good at. I picture him eating breakfast and asking for the latest body count from Iraq...just our troops, not the Iraqis. It's something to read during breakfast and when he goes to take a dump. I wonder if it's just the names of those killed, or if the list includes a little biography of each victim.

5.  When I look at that number...156..and now..
he pulls this old case that has been sitting in the books for years...so they are going to execute him..OK..But why now?
What is the big deal? Why throw light on such an old case? Is it to change the discussion back to capital punishment from this failed war in Iraq? OR just some sick joke?

6. Real power
is the power to kill people. Ask any serial killer. Bush will end up killing a lot of people because he's incompetent (like all those killed in Iraq for example). But killing criminals, well, that's just for fun. They are bad people anyway (as long as some don't turn out to be innocent).

7. I believe there was a single clemency
I believe Bush granted clemency to a single person on death row.

The guy was a self-confessed serial killer with hundreds of murders (not all confirmed, so he may have made some of them up) to his name. He was also a Satanist.

Of course Dubya granted him clemency. They're alike as two peas in a pod.

8. clemency?
bdf--even for someone as stupid as Bush, that's a hard one to believe. How could he give clemency to a guy who committed HUNDREDS of murders? Have you gor any proof of this?
