twice I've posted in threads only to have my reply disappear

has this happened to any of you?

I will reply to a thread, hit post message, get an error page, then sent to the 'discuss' page with my reply not posted.

and in another case I posted to a thread and it went thru fine but the next day my reply was gone.

I also started a thread yesterday in Israel/Palestine forum and now today the thread is gone.

is there a ghost in the machine?

2. I posted to a well behaved thread yesterday and a few hours later it was gone.

The thread was not locked, just disappeared. I don't care enough about the why to ask the admins, but I did find it curious.

you may have been deleted. It is considered too sensitive for discussion.

Or install/update a firewall or antivirus program? I'm not saying that is the problem, but it could be.

9. no - earlier today my browser crashed while I was in this forum

had to start over. at the time I just thought DU was real busy and that made the browser crash.

10. It happens to me on occasion, particularly when I spend a while

typing up a post and then, instead of hitting the post button, I go on to something else, lol.
