1. Well, blm, if by "Diebold's District" you mean Wally O'Dell, I can tell good news,

bush hack Deborah Pryce (R) who barely won in 2006 (with Blackwell counting the votes) has decided to spend more time with her family and retire. A very competent Dem, Mary Jo Kilroy will be up against repuke Steve Stivers.

3. Portman's from Cinci. Wally O'Dell lives in suburban Columbus. Weird story:

My son's best friend lives just down the street from O'Dell's mansion. One day just after X-Mas in 2005, we were taking my son over to his friend's house to play. Who should be taking big boxes out to the trash but ole Wally himself. I realized who it was just as we passed him. I screamed "OMG-it's O'Dell...stop the car and let me say something" but alas, my husband, who hates conflict wouldn't stop. I couldn't believe it-I was pissed!
