Poll question: Doesn't Obama's stance on Iran having nuclear weapons sound like McCain's?
Whatever happened to all the talk about Iran's president's "wipe Israel off the map" quote being fabricated?

I remember watching Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as he gave his speech at the UN, he said he wanted to be friends with Israel.

I'm beginning not to trust anyone.

Heres' my poll question...

Do you think that the defense industry will continue to control the White House no matter who is President?

Sorry, polls are turned off at Level 3.

2. Of course they will
This was never a question. Obama made it clear after he gained the Nom that he was willing to play ball by moving the theater and expanding it.

He also parrots the BS about Iran even though the NIE debunked it.

Just for once, I'd like to be allowed a leader who speaks his or her own mind.

3. Obama's method of dealing with Iran is direct meetings and international diplomacy.
I'd say that position is very different than McCains!

Thank you for your "concern" but you may want to pay a little closer attention.

6. When the outcome is same, they're no different.
And yes I am "concerned".

The word "concern" around here is just another way of saying shut-up and fall in line.

4. Hate to break it to you: Obama isn't the Second Coming of Christ
nor is he the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln. He's a politician - a politician who happens to be on the correct side of most of the issues facing our country - but a politician none the less.

As a politician, part of his job is dealing with the news media. It is not to defend Ahmadinejad, or to imply that the news media are a bunch of liars. Those are both losing propositions.

8. And who categorized him as such. (i.e., second coming)
He is a leader. That should be obvious to you based upon this trip, if it wasn't before.

Because I support our candidate doesn't mean that I have elevated him to messiah status.

Hint for you: The primary is obviously over

14. There have been a lot of posts here saying basically He practically walks on water.
Hint for you: It is a hell of a long bumpy road between here and the White House.

15. apparently some of you former Hillary supporters are upset that he is doing so well abroad
Kind of puts the skids on any organized effort to change the delegates minds prior to the convention so that the change their vote to Hillary...

Sorry about that

5. You need to add the choice: "This thread is Flamebait"
No, nothing about Obama sounds like McCain.

If you think so, maybe you're lost.

12. My intent was to get people talking about what we want as democrats.
Obama has to listen to us. We wanted a candidate who would bring us change.

Bullying Iran because they want to same weapons we have to feel secure, is just plain wrong. Like I said, I thought we agreed that Iran's aggression toward Israel is just fabrication.

Flamebait? ...Do you really think we're to immature to have this discussion?
