Venezuela is new home for email/web scammers and password thieves

Been getting lots of email scams trying to get passwords from places like paypal and others.

Here is the latest URL received in email asking me to confirm my paypal account. Note that
the URL leads right to .ve

www.paypal.com.899-779-684.account-restore.899-779-684....

I have removed my email addr from the url, but it prefills the fake paypal form and when you
enter your pw the scum in Venezuela.

This has been going on like this for over a year now. I wonder if Hugo approves of these
attacks on the little people?

In fact, .ve accounts for 90% of these password attempts in the last year. Hugo has shown
his hate for the USA so why would he clamp down on his scammers that are stealing money
of Americans? When I get one of these for .ru, .cz etc the sits are shut down usually
before I get to try the link.

The Venezuela scam sites stay up for months and that tells me that they turn a blind
eye to this criminal activity.
