In 2001, we get an administration in which everyone is associated in some way with Big Oil... and presto, suddenly we're in an oil crisis with record-breaking pump inflation (and record profits for the companies).

Why oh why has no one dared to go public with this obvious fact?

and not eligible for re-appointment. HE sure has hell really doesn't give a rat's ass--not that he has in the past 7 years but now he doesn't even have to tell his oil cronies "psst, lower the prices for me starting in October, ok?"
