Anyone at DU listen to any shows on blogtalkradio.com?
Just curious... BlogTalkRadio.com seems to have a great idea, but is anyone listening? They have 2 political channels, LEFT and RIGHT, and any show done there can be made available on iTunes...

But, is anyone listening? The 'live' show can take guests and callers, and the system seems well developed...

Do YOU listen to anything on blogtalkradio?

3. Nope, I don't
It's the online equivalent of a self-published book. I suppose there's a niche for it, especially with the dearth of decent commercial talk radio programs, but given that anyone with a few grand to blow on it can do it I am guessing the vast majority of the programming is amateurish at best.

4. Oh, amatuer is being generous most of the time... However...
There are some entertainers. comics, etc using it well... Tommy Chong has a pretty funny show at BTR.

I agree, it's like the self-published book... But some friends of mine are working on a network idea and using BTR for development... They want me to do a show there, once a week...

BTR can handle a pretty good setup. I'd be using a pro grade mixer, compressor/limiter and the same mic Tom Joyner uses for hosting. Callers need to call an NYC local number, even though I'm in Minneapolis...

7. PM me when you have your show up and running
With details on how to access.

If it is available over the internet (I live in a hilly section of the world and can't get much real radio)

And Good Luck!!
