CNN is being deceptive about the tape of the young Gitmo prisoner.

CNN is treating this as if there is no American involvement in the way Khadr has been treated. What we are seeing on this tape is Khadr after he has been in American hands at Gitmo for 1 year. In the tape Omar Khadr is being questioned by Canadian authorities who went to Gitmo to question him as to "how he was being treated!" CNN seems to be making it look as if the Canadians are a part of the Gitmo set-up and were responsible for his interogation. Kyra Phillips said there is nothing to indicate he was mistreated...bla..bla...bla. Also, no one at CNN is mentioning the fact that this young man was under his father's control (a vitally pertinent fact) and taken to Afghanistan to fight Americans at the age of approx. 13 years old. He was captured by the Americans at age 15 and is therefore catagorized as a child soldier. He is accused of lobbing a grenade that killed an American soldier.....there is some confusion whether it was him or another person who did this....The point is, he was a child under his father's control, when all this took place. Our current Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, a George Bush ass-kisser, refuses to demand his repatriation to Canada.....as have the leaders of Great Britain, Australia, France and others when it came to their citizens. The whole thing is disgusting.
I want to make it clear that only Harper didn't demand patriation. The other leaders did. I guess I didn't word it clearly.
P.S. Again...Khadr and his lawyers claim he has been badly treated.

2. I can only assume that the reason for this is because those
detainees are ethnic Arabs and a minority that the obviously white PMs of those countries don't feel there will be any outrage about if they don't demand repatriation. Yep, I'm afraid it's all because of bigotry IMHO.

4. CNN is REALLY lying about this.

They just said "we've got the first interrogation tape from Gitmo ever issued!" What you are seeing is not what they are claiming. The Canadians are there to check on the condition of young Khadr. THEY WERE NOT THE INTERROGATORS!

7. Since Fox News has said perhaps Khadr deserved his treatment
and also the fact that CNN and others have lead with this story all day....thought I would kick it.
