How much lower do you think Peloisi and Reid can drive it before the election? It is already at historic lows and yet they continue to pursue the same methods and actions. Can it go lower and do you think it will?

2. Every time they are seen as supporting this administration
they'll lose more approval. People know this country is in trouble and that there are madmen in control of it.

How much of the rage out here in workaday land gets transferred into a general "throw the bastards out" voting pattern this fall is anyone's guess. The pattern in the past would say that most people are resigned to their own Congress critter, but your son of a bitch is the one who needs to go.

Unfortunately, that's usually good news for incumbents in both parties, no matter how low their overall approval rating gets.

3. Do they ever ask anybody WHY they rate Congress so low?
The Republicans have been spinning this since forever (well, since Jan '07) as a vote of no-confidence in Democratic policies. I, on the other hand, think it's a vote of no confidence in the Democrats' ability to enact their policies.

Somebody oughtta ask "What are your priorities for Congress? Impeach Bush? Outlaw warrantless wiretaps? Reduce taxes on the rich? Fund a war with Iran?

With the right questions, that would maybe be an eye-opener for the Complicit wing of the Democratic Party.

4. The biggest risk, which I NEVER see mentioned
is that this rage at Congress will turn against the Democrats. They were voted in by people who wanted retribution, justice and a change in direction. How many of you remember our high-fiving each other and saying "Supoena power baby!!!"

They did not take up this charge they were given, in fact they did the opposite and are now seen as being almost as complicit and enabling as the majority they replaced. They run the risk of rage not being against solely Republicans, but against all INCUMBENTS, including Democrats.

10. Beck is such a fool
He probably doesn't even know that Congress essentially always has lower approval ratings than the president, regardless of which parties are concerned. Why in the world does that blowhard still have a cable news show?

11. But most of them will be re-elected.
People may have a low opinion of congress over all, but will send their own rep back.
