On 1-20-09, I expect a Democratic President and larger majorities of Dems in both the House and Senate to be sworn in. I will work hard to make that happen. We all should.
But
On 1-20-10, I am gonna look around. I fear that the Dems will become even worse toadies and sell-outs than ever before (based on present indications from both Obama and the jellyfish in Congress). If things go the same way we have seen since we took the "majority" in Congress, I am gone. I will become a Green.
I remember John and Bobby, Martin, Truman, and many heroic Dems. It appears they will be rolling in their graves.
I hope that I will be proven wrong. I hope that on 1-20-09, we will have passed universal health care, gotten rid of Nafta, regulated oil companies, and done so many other things for our country.
But if not, buh-bye. Democratic fascism is no different the GOP.
