I feel kind of stupid.
Or at least left out of the news loop. I did not know that Tony Snow died until I got home from work earlier and saw it on DU. Of course I was as busy as a man can be (on a friggin' Saturday no less) and did not get much of a chance to get any news. So thanks again DU, this place is essential. And RIP Tony Snow. I know he was a neocon and all that, but he was only 53 yrs. old, three years older than me. And it just ain't cool to die of cancer ever, especially at 53.

2. I've known all day, but just haven't seemed able to respond . . .
about it 'til now. I'm 54 and when people like Russert and Snow die at these ages, it scares the shit outta me.

R.I.P. Tony Snow. You'll have a lot of explaining to do when you get there.

4. Sadly, the way he served
his country was less admirable.

5. Very true.
As a cancer survivor I know it's not easy to go on each day.

6. I got the news today that one of my cousins who was in his 50s passed
away late last week from cancer as well. He had been fighting stage 4 lung cancer for a while. Way too young. He leaves behind a wife and 2 sons.

and during a lull, they went to dinner and of course the hotel has FoxNews on...so he called me to see if I had heard ..I guess bachelor parties are not as wild as they used to be :)
