Ron Kuby doesn't like black people
I was just on the phone with the Ron Kuby screeners who said I was "screaming at them" because I didn't agree with Obama's vote for telecom immunity and the end of the Fourth Amendment. At the end of the call, I listened to what I thought was a caller, but it turned out to be Ron who was saying that Jesse Jackson really missed an opportunity to tell the truth when he failed to sign on to Bill Cosby's statement that black people's problems are all their own fault. Sorry, but I've actually been alive for the past fifty years on this planet. People of "color" are among some of the finest human beings I've ever met. The problems in their communities are no different from the same shitpile our materialistic society has created for all of us. If we can't can't finally expunge this blatant racism from our own ranks, how can we ever move on and provide the real and true leadership that this country needs?

Vic, very upset right now.....

1. Don't get yourself in-a-wringer because of Ron Kuby
He's always been kind of a jerk.

3. I only listened to him
once and then I went back to Randi. Now when she goes on a tear I turn off the radios.

5. You can say that for atleast half of AAR's
I wonder when the still remaing progressive half of AAR will notice. And start speaking out about it.

6. I knew Bill Kunstler
I worked with him a long time ago, and he took this guy in as a kind of protege, although, as we all knew, he didn't trust him. Kuby was never a partner, only an employee, which measured the size of Bill's mistrust of him.

That he's sounding like this now makes me sad, but it also makes me wonder exactly what it was Bill Kunstler saw in him all those years ago.

9. He used to be a lot more progressive
He was a great foil for Curtis Sliwa on right-wing radio, and most of what he said then was very strong. I've just noticed since he came on AAR how watered-down he is sounding.

10. They used to tell me,
when I was a kid, a thousand years ago, that people grew more conservative politically as they grew older.

Well, I've grown older, and I'm a lot more dangerous as a leftie than I was as a hippie protester.

Maybe Kuby is just proving the old adage to be true. I am so sorry to learn about this.

7. I have to stream Randi too.
That guy also puts me to sleep. At least Randi doesn't do that to me. I've been asking my local to put Randi back on. They did put Mike Malloy back on after he got fired from AAR. Mike Malloy has said that they are Republicans. I find them to be DINOs. The only shows I listen to anymore are Thom Hartmann and Rachel Maddow. Methinks Maddow will jump ship soon and I often stream Thom from Nova radio when my reception isn't too good. So AAR has pretty much lost me as a listener.

8. I never heard that from listening to him, but
I haven't listened to him lately. I used to listen to him occasionally on WABC in NY.
