Is the W04 sticker finally extinct?
The Cons displayed their complete lack of grace in victory by making their bumper stickers permanent.
Or so we thought.
I commute a horrid hour each way every day. And there were all too many W04 stickers visible well into 2006.
Its the third month of 2007 and I noticed the other day that I didn't see any going either way.
Is it true, are the awful things finally gone?

1. Even in Texas
I just had a conversation with someone today about this. We've noticed fewer cars with the W stickers.

20. There are very few left. When you do see one the car is driven by elderly people in large old cars,
or a beat up pickup, or a Lexus SUV. That's about it anymore, even in Dallas.

25. I guess that more rural and surburban areas there would be more of these.
But aren't you finding fewer even there?

2. Well, as time passes more and more new cars
are on the road, and the W stickers slowly die and aren't replaced...but i think we'll be seeing them occasionally for the next 20 years.

4. I noticed there are a lot fewer here in Alabama too.
At least in my part of the state.
On the other hand, I have seen a lot of bright blue dot stickers.

5. I saw my first one in months this morning
in austin, texas....

I remember because I tend to call drivers w/ these stupid stickers all kinds of naughty names and I haven't had to in a long time.

7. I saw one here in Virginia yesterday... ("W: the President")
and it was probably the only one I've seen this entire year, and when you get outside the very blue city of Charlottesville, it's red state all around. (This is Virgil "I fear more Muslims will run for office" Goode's district.)

14. Sadly, no
As evinced by the surprising number still surviving in the NY area, not to mention my ignorant fool of a brother-in-law (FL) who appears to have purchased them by the caseload.

16. I live in Ohio.
There are totally brain-dead asswipe shitshard MORANS that still proudly BRAG about supporting the Fucktard in Cheat. I see at LEAST three on my morning drive to work on random cars. EVERY DAY. And I always pass them by, but not before looking at them. It's always because I just need to see WHAT kind of individual allows themselves to go lobotomized for THAT long. I need to see what a true dumbass looks like.

Oh yeah, I live in NORTHEAST Ohio . . . the heaviest blue counties IN Ohio. I don't EVEN want to imagine what it's like down south-west.

Granted I don't drive in the south, but in the midwest.

19. Not even an endangered species here in upstate SC.
Fewer W04s and Bu$h/Cheney04s, yes; but extinct, no. Sunday, driving back from Atlanta, I spotted a big SUV with this combo:

Bu$h/Cheney'04

Support Our Troops
ribbon

God Loves Life

Two "big" chrome Christian Fish, followed by three "little" chrome Christian Fishes (get it? Momma Christian, Poppa Christian, and three little Christians)

My head almost exploded with the myriad contradictions in that collection!

23. Oh, I still see them here in NJ.

The state may be overall Democratic, and getting more so all the time - see this thread in the NJ Forum: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=167&topic_id=3941&mesg_id=3941 but there are still strongholds of Republican power and sentiment, especially in some of the wealthier counties.
GEE, what a surprise! :sarcasm:

So, I still see them occasionally; usually on the backs of big black SUVs. Another "surprise". Let's call them "endangered" rather than "extinct".
 Hell, I expect a few to linger into the next Democratic Presidency.
