I've been inspired not to care
According to this person:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

I'm not supposed to question my Candidate when he does something dangerous and or/stupid. Instead, I am supposed to live in deadly fear of McSame(Which I don't), and attempt to get out the vote in a way that will nullify election fraud(it can't be fought that way) rather than attacking the problem right now.

If this is the true face of our party, we've already lost, whether Senator Obama is declared winner or not.

What will we lose?

Our Country
Our Values
Our Voice
Our Lives

Where is my party? The party who is tough on Bush and his illegal policies? Tough on his outright theft of our tax money? The party that is for the rule of law and fair treatment of all Americans?

When did we become supporters of "No cost is too great"?

I'll still vote in November, but I'm done listening to people talk about how we have to violate the law and our values to win a rigged election.

Not for the first time, I'm wondering about how crazy my fellow countrymen really are.

10. How is it if someone questions the popular of majority
It is now automatically termed whining?

Look , EVERYONE as far as I know has their right to question anything and speak out if they do not agree. In fact I would promote free thinking.

3. Don't listen to those who tell you idealism is a concept to be avoided,
that "it's how you play the game that counts" more than anything.

See my sig line.

5. "Idealism is what precedes experience;
cynicism is what follows." - David T. Wolf (1943 - )

"At least two-thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity: idealism, dogmatism and proselytizing zeal on behalf of religous or political ideas." - Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963)

"Idealism is what precedes experience; "An idealist is one who, on noticing that a rose smells better than a cabbage, concludes that it will also make better soup." - H. L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)

Ideals are the goals, not the standards...

7. RFK on idealism:
"Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope...."

"The sharpest criticism often goes hand in hand with the deepest idealism and love of country."

9. great quotes from RFK...
the 'ideal' actually becomes the variable in all of this, would you agree?

the nature of the 'ideal' is inherently individual and can project itself in all directions and places...

I would argue that one cannot trust any or all others' 'ideals' to be good or positive by nature...

And, the "lesser of two evils" argument is a thin argument. Like asking if I'll have a single or double shot of arsenic.

Edited to add:

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." Thomas Paine
