The infection of "Military Madness"
---

For instance:
When a fighter jet flies over how many times have you, or those you are with, look on with awe and admiration?
The "infection" runs deep.

Missiles, military, fighter jets, etc...
All symbols of mankind's failings.

I see absolutely zero reason to get "excited" about arms and weapons of war.
For me they indicate a human defect.
A defect that can't, or refuses to find peace and chooses conflict as a first choice.
A defect that has wasted trillions on ways to kill people when trillions are needed for healing the planet.

1. Many find some sort of 'pride' in living in a country that has wasted $trillions and
millions of lives in pursuit of military mastery.

3. O boy ...I got attacked for saying about the same thing last week.
You might want to use the word affecting rather than infection. I do agree with you though, it does seem more like an infection if it comes from the military family hand me down psych. Is anyone studying or asking how much and in what ways are military service people are affecting the general public psych and morals? We have trained killers among us. Why do people think going to war because of an asscarrot policy is so patriotic? Just how well did that "stop communism" policy work out for us? If you fought against North Vietnam, who was being backed by China, how do you feel about shopping at Walmart or Toy R Us? North Vietnam wants to do business with us now. Who and what did the US soldiers die for in Vietnam and Korea? Capitalism!

6. Same as it ever was. "War is a Racket" by Gen. Smedly Butler,
a two-time Medal of Honor winner that foiled the Business Plot and realized that his whole career was spent massacring innocent people for corporate profits.

5. Walk into any video game arcade
and you see it manifested all around. It's where boys live out their fantasies of being the tough soldiers and shooting things dead. :scared:

7. Like the horrible incident in France yesterday
What kind of people go to these military demonstrations anyway?

And now we no longer hav a president, we have a commander-in-chief.
