I have had it with this freak show!
First we lose the one person we had that could somehow make some kind of sense of all this shit. That pushed me to the brink.

"When you're born, you get a ticket to the freak show. When you're born in America, you get a front-row seat." - George Carlin

But it's the torture stonewallings on the Hill that actually shoved me over the edge. Torturing children?

I made the mistake of listening to Dennis Miller earlier this week. Yeah, I know:

Researcher: The average radio listener listens for eighteen minutes. The average Howard Stern fan listens for - are you ready for this? - an hour and twenty minutes.
Pig Vomit: How can that be?
Researcher: Answer most commonly given? "I want to see what he'll say next."
Pig Vomit: Okay, fine. But what about the people who hate Stern?
Researcher: Good point. The average Stern hater listens for two and a half hours a day.
Pig Vomit: But... if they hate him, why do they listen?
Researcher: Most common answer? "I want to see what he'll say next."

Anyway, Dennis had a retired GTMO Jag officer who assured him that nothing untoward ever happened there except maybe over inflating their soccer balls and not providing enough candy! Dennis mostly just let her do the talking. I suppose it's hard to get a word out when you're busy fellating a strap-on. I remember one caller challenged her statements. Dennis cut him off and then they both ridiculed the caller. I dropped him an annonymous email for all the good it will do.

Dennis has either swallowed the Kool-Aid or chose to take the blue pill. I don't know.

The media just spent two weeks honoring a right wing sycophant and barely acknowledged Arlin's passing. Fifty years from now, if we survive that long, Carlin will still be quoted. No one will remember Russert even existed.

I no longer recognize this country. Why even bother voting at this point? The people that run this country aren't on the ballot.

I'm tired of this fucking freak show. I want off this ride.

It's times like these that make me wish I never quit drinking.

or more countries. Those that want fascism can live in one and those that prefer representative democracy with the constitution restored can live in another.

7. Sometimes I feel like I am on that ride at the fair that spins
real fast...I keep looking at the operator waiting for the ride to stop and he just keeps grinning at all the people puking and spins it faster and faster...

8. I taught my five year old niece how to stop a ride
Put one hand over your mouth and wave the other hand in the air. Ride operators don't like to clean up puke.

I'm trying that with the freak show but I don't think the great cosmic ride-op cares.
