1. I always wonder when I hear that term..
I guess a five-day work week is "far left". It certainly wasn't the right wing that got that for us.

2. I'm no repuke, closeted or otherwise,
but it's pretty clear that restoration of habeas corpus is now "far left." it's clear that the notion of three co-equal branches of government is now "far left." it's clear that the notion of the Constitution, except for an excerpted phrase from the Second Amendment is "far left."

11. OK, that one is actually "far left". However, have you ever heard anyone here
--criticize Obama for NOT advocating that position? Regulation of the current speculation binge is an entirely different matter, though.

8. Seems to be more than a fair share of that lately.
Don't surprise me. There are even free trade/job offshoring apologists on this board.

Their all probably following the lead of one unnamed member who, several months back said, and I quote verbatim: "Progressives are as useless as tits on a boar".

Nice.

I wonder if they also use the equally odious term "Michael Moore crowd" amongst their peers?

They won't show up here because they'll be exposed.

The same people have no problem though with the far right, fascism, neocons and imperialism and consider themselves fucking "moderates"!
