1. Aint it the truth

His legacy is why he keeps coming up with these "5 year plans" when he has only two years to go.

In 5 years the economy will turn around
In 5 years the deficit will begin to be paid down
In 5 years we'll switch to alternative energy sources
In 5 years we can leave Iraq
In 5 years Social Security will be sound and healthy

And Buxh's supporters will praise his accomplishments.
If it doesn't work out, they'll blame the new president for screwing it up.

2. My prediction

is that the legacy will overtake Bush before 2009--hopefully by impeachment, but I'll settle for resignation as well.
